The lovely Lovers’ Road

The landmark of the city, Zhuhai Fisher Girl. The marble statute looks much like a Greek or Roman statue – you will not associate it with a girl from a fisherman family in a southern China city. Totally dislocated. 

However, if you look at the statue out of the context, it can be charming.

  1. tracey, i cannot give you suggestions if i don’t know your budget and some of your requirments. for hong kong, i recommend you go to http://www.hostelworld.com. you can find some hostels/hotels not in the higher end. Good selection there. there are also reviews for reference.

  2. okay, I did find elong travel.com_ Anna I’m going to be traveling at the end of December_ I checked for openings and it seems that both cities _Zhuhai and Hong Kong are booked for 12/31/08 for two weeks_ can you give me some tips on where to stay? Thanks, again_ Tracey
